1/ General

What is NFC?

Near field communication, abbreviated NFC is a set of standards for Smartphones and/or other devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity (i.e. few centimeters) so that data is exchanged. It allows users to simply tap a certified NFC enabled mobile phones/devices on a contactless POS terminal so that the transaction is processed.

How is NFC useful to me?

NFC payment is designed to provide a quick, easy payment method. It can replace paying with cash, searching for change or even taking your card out of your wallet. It's simple and easy and can be used for all kinds of small purchases. All you have to do is use your NFC-enabled handset and tap your mobile at a contactless reader at merchants having MasterCard contactless acceptance.

What is the NFC service called at Bank Audi?

Bank Audi has named its NFC service: "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment.

How does "Tap2Pay" NFC service work?

"Tap2Pay" NFC service can be linked to your Alfa or Touch SIM card, allowing you to make secure payments through your NFC enabled Mobile.
To access the payment functionality, you will have to go to the settings of your phone and set up the payment service.

Is the "Tap2Pay" NFC mobile Payment service available for Prepaid and Postpaid Alfa and Touch lines?

Yes.

What payment cards can I add to the "Tap2Pay" NFC mobile payment service?

Currently, the bank is offering the "Tap2Pay" NFC mobile payment service for the below selected MasterCard credit cards only. It will however later on introduce this technology on other forms and types of available payment cards.

You can link the following credit card to the "Tap2Pay" NFC mobile payment service:

- MasterCard World
- MasterCard "The Ultimate" Cedar Miles
- MasterCard MEA Platinum
- MasterCard MEA Classic
- MasterCard ABC Platinum
- MasterCard ABC Classic
- MasterCard Titanium USD
- MasterCard Loubnani

Can I use any mobile phone to conduct the "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions?

No. Your phone must be NFC-enabled in order to be able to conduct the "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions. That means that your mobile phone will have an antenna that will enable your phone to emit radio frequency that can be read by the contactless reader and allows the transaction to be processed.

Which mobile phones can be used for the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment?

All NFC enabled Smartphones.

Testing was successful on the following sample of handsets:

- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- Samsung Galaxy Note 3
- Blackberry Bold Touch 9900
- Blackberry Bold 9790
- Blackberry Curve 9360

Note: Currently all iPhones are not NFC enabled and therefore, you cannot use them for NFC transactions. An alternative solution will be provided.

2/ Subscribing & using the service

How do I subscribe to "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment Service?

To subscribe to "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service, you must be a Bank Audi MasterCard cardholder. As a cardholder, you can apply by following these simple steps:

- Fill a physical NFC application form available in any Bank Audi branches or at Alfa and Touch premises.
- Provide the Customer Service Officer (CSO) with a copy of your ID.
- Wait for your application to be processed (allow a maximum of 48 business hours).
- Once approved, your new NFC SIM card will be sent to the designated address on the application
- Once you have the SIM, call 01-212120 and activate it.

Can a supplementary cardholder subscribe to the "Tap2Pay" NFC mobile payment service?

Yes. The supplementary cardholder should follow the same steps as the basic cardholder (steps mentioned above).

Can a basic cardholder issue many NFCs to be linked to his card?

Yes, however, all SIM applicants should sign each an NFC application form which needs to be signed as well by the basic cardholder.

Can I apply for the "Tap2Pay" NFC service if I don't own my SIM card?

You can apply for the "Tap2Pay" NFC service only if the mobile line is in your name. In case it is not, you will need to refer to your respective mobile operator to sort out the proxy or ownership procedures. Once sorted out, you will be able to apply for this service.

Do I need to change my SIM card once approved for the "Tap2Pay" NFC service?

You will need to change the SIM card by an NFC SIM offered thru the bank since the Bank will introduce your Credit Card on the new SIM card in order to be able to conduct "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions.

How much do I have to pay to subscribe to the "Tap2Pay" NFC service?

In order to subscribe for the "Tap2Pay" NFC service, you will need to pay a yearly charge of $15.

What are the steps to start using the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service?

If you are an existing Bank Audi cardholder (only cards mentioned above), and have a mobile line in your name from either Alfa or Touch, you will be able to start using the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service by following the below simple steps:

Once approved and you have the new NFC enabled SIM provided by the Bank:

1- Call our Customer Service hotline at 01-212120 to activate the new NFC enabled SIM.
2- Once your existing SIM card service stops (a process that takes up to 24hours max), you will need to replace the old SIM card with the new NFC enabled SIM provided by the Bank.
3- Enable the NFC service on your Smartphone's settings.
4- Initialize the application by following the below steps:
- Go to the main menu of your Smart Phone and the NFC icon will appear directly ("Tap2Pay" icon for Alfa and "SIM Toolkit" for Touch).
- Click on this icon to open the "Tap2Pay" application and , you will be prompted to enter the set passcode "0000" given by the bank and then change it to a 4 digit numerical passcode of your choice.
- Start using your phone normally to conduct calls and mobile payments.

What are the functionalities of the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service?

With the "Tap2Pay" NFC service, you will be able to use the following functionalities:
1- Tap your mobile to pay: With this functionality you can pay for your purchases by tapping your NFC enabled mobile on the contactless POS reader.
2- Last 10 transactions: You can check the "Last 10 transactions" (rejected and approved) conducted as NFC payments on your mobile phone.
3- Forgot Passcode: Functionality to be used in case you forgot your passcode or you entered your passcode wrong three times.
You will have to follow the below steps:
- Call the Bank at 01-212120 or refer to any Bank Audi branch.
- The bank will provide you with a Payment "PUK" code in a sealed envelop sent to designated address within 48 working hours.
- From the main menu of the "Tap2Pay" application, click on the "Forgot Passcode" feature.
- Once you click on the feature, you will be asked to enter the Payment "PUK" code provided to you by the bank in order to unlock the application.
- Enter a new 4 digits numerical passcode of your choice.

4- Change Passcode: With this functionality, you will be able to change your passcode by entering your current passcode first and then choosing a new 4 digits numerical passcode.

3/ Payments

How do I pay using the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service?

With "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment Service, you will be able to carry out cashless transactions at retail outlets that accept MasterCard Paypass by simply tapping your NFC enabled phone at the contactless payment terminal. The amount will be automatically deducted from your basic card credit limit.

Is "Tap2Pay" secure?

Yes! Aside from never having to hand in a card, and always having your phone in your hand while making the transaction, as a security measure, you will be required to enter a 4-digit passcode to access the "Tap2Pay" application before each payment, and before accessing the other features. You will be granted 2 minutes to make the payment, otherwise the application will be disabled and you will have to re-enter your passcode again.

Will I continue to earn loyalty or rewards benefits from my credit card?

Since the card on your phone will be a companion card for the already existing credit card you have, you will continue to benefit from the loyalty program available on your card, as if you were using the card itself.

Where can I use the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service?

You can use your "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service anywhere in Lebanon or abroad. You will be able to use it at any merchant displaying the logo. There are thousands of locations around the world now offering PayPass. To know all the merchant locations, you can always log on to:
http://www.mastercard.us/cardholder-services/paypass-locator.html and check all the merchants locations where you can use your "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service whether in Lebanon or abroad.

Do I need to have the roaming service in order to be able to use the "Tap2Pay" abroad?

No.

What is the "Tap2Pay" NFC daily limit?

The "Tap2Pay" NFC daily limit is 1,000$ or 1,500,000 LBP.

Can I conduct a "Tap2Pay" NFC transaction if the amount due is more than $50?

Yes, any transaction under 1,000$ can be conducted by using the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service. It is used as follows:

- For an amount less or equal to 50$ —> Tap the mobile and go (no slip signature needed).
- For an amount between 50$ and 1000$ —> Tap the mobile, sign and go (slip signature needed).
- For an amount greater than 1000$ —> The "Tap2Pay" NFC payment doesn't apply; the cardholder will need to swipe or insert the physical card and conduct a normal transaction like you would usually do.

Will I receive SMS for the "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions?

Yes. You will receive SMS for all "Tap2Pay" NFC Transactions conducted.

Will my monthly statement include the "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions?

All transactions done by using the "Tap2Pay" NFC Mobile Payment service will be shown on the client's monthly basic credit card statement under "Tap2Pay" section.

How far from the reader should I hold the phone?

Your phone must be extremely close to the reader. Once you hear the beep after your phone is tapped, this means that the transaction was processed.

Can I accidentally be charged for an NFC transaction just by walking past a PayPass reader?

No. The transactions takes place only after the user opens the mobile application, choose Tap your mobile to pay, inserts his passcode and after the merchant enters the amount to be paid on the POS machine, then taps his phone near the reader.

Will I receive a sale slip for NFC purchases?

For all "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions under $50, you usually won't receive a sale slip, however, you can always ask for one from the merchant. For all "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions above $50, you will sign a receipt and receive a copy of it as usual without having to ask for it.

Are there any fees for using the "Tap2Pay" NFC service?

No. You won't be charged any additional fees for "Tap2Pay" NFC transactions.

Can I disable/turn off the NFC option?

Yes you can disable/turn off the NFC option, but it is not recommended since in this case you will not be able to conduct phone calls or mobile payments.

4/ Security

What should I do if my NFC enabled mobile phone or SIM card is lost or stolen?

If your NFC enabled mobile phone and SIM card is lost or stolen, please notify the bank immediately by contacting our 24-hours Customer Service hotline at 01-212120 in order to stop the payment on the NFC SIM card.
You will also have to call the mobile operator (Alfa or Touch) to stop the SIM card itself.
A new NFC enabled SIM will be provided to you by the bank. Upon receiving your replacement NFC SIM Card, please contact our 24-hours Customer Service hotline at 01-212120 to re-active the service.

How much do I have to pay for the replacement of the NFC SIM card?

USD 8 or C/V in LBP.

What should I do if I have replaced my basic card for damaged/lost reason with a new one to which the NFC SIM card is linked?

NFC service will not be affected, no need for NFC SIM replacement.

What should I do if I canceled my basic card on which the NFC SIM card is linked?

The NFC service will stop functioning but your NFC SIM will remain functional for conducting phone calls; however, should you need to benefit from the Tap2Pay mobile payment service again, you need to apply for a new MC credit card and hence apply to the NFC SIM service and replace your SIM with a new one from the bank or, if you hold another type of MC card at the bank and you wish to link your phone to it, you will have to apply for the NFC service and replace your SIM with a new one from the bank.

Should I need to replace my NFC SIM card if I canceled the Tap2Pay mobile payment service?

No, your GSM line will remain fully operational; however no contactless payments can be performed anymore on the existing NFC SIM card.

Should I replace the NFC SIM card if I replaced my old GSM number with a new one?

The Tap2Pay mobile payment service remains active on the old NFC SIM unless you contact the bank to stop it. In case you wish to have the Tap2Pay mobile payment service on your new GSM number, you should apply for a new NFC SIM card at the bank.

Can I still perform NFC contactless payments if my mobile operator suspends my GSM number?

Your NFC Tap2Pay mobile payment service will not be affected, you will still be able to perform NFC contactless payments through your mobile even your GSM line is suspended.

Will the application store my credit card information?

No. The credit card information is secure on the SIM card. The application simply provides a user interface in order to make the purchasing process easier and more secure.

Tap2Pay NFC Wearables

What are the “Tap2Pay NFC Wearables”?

They are wearable devices including a Watch and a Bracelet with an EMV chip embedded in the device allowing its holder to conduct contactless transactions by tapping the device (watch, bracelet) on a contactless POS machine at the merchant premises through the use of the contactless card details stored in the EMV chip.

What is “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”?

It is a wearable watch linked to a credit or a prepaid card account and allowing its holder to make contactless transactions by tapping it to a POS machine at the merchants’ premises though the use of the contactless card details stored in the EMV chip.

What is “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

It is a wearable bracelet linked to a credit or a prepaid card account and allowing its holder to make contactless transactions by tapping it to a POS machine at the merchants’ premises through the use of the contactless number stored in the EMV chip.

How are the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” useful to me?

By putting your Watch or Bracelet, you can now leave your wallet at home and feel free to enjoy your sport, to go to university, to dine out… It can replace paying in cash, searching for change or even taking your card out of your wallet. It is simple and easy and can be used for all kinds of small purchases.

How do “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” work?

Once you receive your “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”/ “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” kit, just follow the below steps:

- Break-out the chip card
- Insert the chip in the watch/bracelet
- Call 01-212120 for activation
- Start paying with your Watch/Bracelet by tapping it on a contactless reader at merchants having contactless acceptance.

2. Linked to a prepaid card account:: Bank Audi will open a prepaid card account for the applicant and will link the watch/bracelet to this account. This account is to be loaded by the applicant with the desired amount.

Is there any warranty on my “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

“Tap2Pay NFC Watch”: the Watch comes with a one year limited warranty. In case of any problem, you must hand your Watch along with the Chip to Bank Audi in order for them to check it and identify whether it is covered by the warranty.
“Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”: No warranty is provided on the bracelet.

2/ SUBSCRIBING & USING THE “TAP2PAY NFC WATCH” AND “TAP2PAY NFC BRACELET”

How do I subscribe to the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

1. To link the Watch/Bracelet to your MasterCard Credit Card from bank Audi, you must follow these simple steps:

- Fill a physical “Tap2Pay NFC Wearables” application form available at any Bank Audi branch.
- - Provide the Customer Service Officer (CSO) with the necessary documents:
o For a cardholder having a basic card applying for a Watch/Bracelet for himself -> no documents needed
o For a cardholder having a supplementary card applying for a Watch/Bracelet for himself -> no documents needed
o For a cardholder having a basic card applying for a Watch/Bracelet for a third party (Companion User)  Identity Card of the third party (Companion User)
- Wait for your application to be processed (allow a maximum of 48 business hours).
- Once issued, your “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”/”Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” will be sent to the designated branch on the application
- Once you have the watch/bracelet, call 01-212120 to activate it Or Send the following SMS to our messaging number 03-000737: ON followed by a space and then the last 4 digits of your watch/bracelet card number


2. To link the Watch/Bracelet to a Prepaid Card Account,you must follow these simple steps:

- Fill a physical “Tap2Pay NFC Wearables” application form available at any Bank Audi branch.
- Provide the Customer Service Officer (CSO) with the necessary documents:
o For an account holder or cardholder applying for a new watch/bracelet for himself -> no documents needed
o For an account holder or cardholder applying for a new watch/bracelet for a Beneficiary -> Identity Card of the third party (Companion User)
- Wait for your application to be processed (allow a maximum of 48 business hours).
- Once issued, your “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”/”Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” will be sent to the designated branch on the application
- Once you have the watch/bracelet, call 01-212120 to activate it Or Send the following SMS to our messaging number 03-000737: ON followed by a space and then the last 4 digits of your watch/bracelet card number.

Can a supplementary cardholder of a MasterCard Card subscribe to the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

Yes. The supplementary cardholder should follow the steps mentioned above.

Should I be a Bank Audi client in order to apply for the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” linked to a prepaid card account?

Yes, the applicant must be an account holder or a cardholder at Bank Audi.

Can a basic cardholder of a MasterCard credit card issue many watches/bracelets in the name of family members to be linked to his card?

Yes, however, all applicants should sign each a “Tap2Pay NFC Wearables” companion user application form which needs to be signed as well by the basic cardholder.

How much do I have to pay to get the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

1. “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”: 90$ or 135,000 LBP first year then 15$ or 22,500/year starting second year

2. “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”: 40$ or 60,000 LBP first year then 15$ or 22,500/year starting second year

What are the steps to start using the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

Once you receive your welcome kit, follow these simple steps:
1. “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”:
Step 1: Press on the detachable chip in order to break it out
Step 2: Open the Chip tray to the left side of your watch
Step 3: Slide the Chip in the tray with the chip side up
Step 4: Close the Chip tray to the left side of your watch
Step 5: Call 01-212120 for activation or send the following SMS to 03-000737: ON followed by a blank space then the last four digits of your card number.

2. “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”:
Step 1: Press on the detachable chip in order to break it out
Step 2: Remove the white device from the back of the bracelet
Step 3: Slide the Chip in the white device with the chip side down as instructed on the white device.
Step 4: Insert the white device inside the back of the bracelet
Step 5: Call 01-212120 for activation or send the following SMS to 03-000737: ON followed by a blank space then the last four digits of your card number.

N.B: Client must keep the “NFC Watch” card details / “NFC Bracelet” card details document* and the surrounding plastic of the Chip since they show the Card account number and the card number of the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” . These numbers are specially needed for loading money in the watch/bracelet.

3/ Payments

How do I pay using the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

With the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”, you will be able to carry out cashless transactions at retail outlets that accept MasterCard Paypass by simply tapping watch/bracelet at the contactless payment terminal. For a watch/bracelet linked to a credit card, the amount will be automatically deducted from your basic card’s credit limit. As for the watch/bracelet linked to a prepaid card account, it will be deducted from the prepaid card account.

Do I have to enter a PIN code each time I pay with my “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet”?

You have to enter your PIN code when required by the contactless POS machine.
PIN requirement:
1. On Bank Audi POS machine:
For amounts less than 50$ -> no PIN is required
For amounts between 50$ and 1,000$ -> PIN entry is required
For amounts greater than 1,000$ -> the client cannot use his watch/bracelet.
He has to swipe/insert a regular card
2. On other banks / third parties POS machine:
PIN insertion rule will follow the conditions set by the other bank / third party

Is the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” secure?

The “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the”Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” offer the below functions providing the watch/bracelet with more security:

1. On/Off Function:
You may activate or deactivate your payment function on your watch/bracelet through our SMS Pull service anytime. Just follow the below steps:
To activate:* Send an SMS including the following information to our messaging number: 03-000 737

- Type the code ON followed by a blank space
- Enter the last 4 digits of the card
To de-activate:* Send an SMS including the following information to our messaging number: 03-000 737
- Type the code OFF followed by a blank space
- Enter the last 4 digits of the card


You will receive an SMS confirmation when your “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and your “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” has been activated / de-activated.
*Important notice: You can simply send the code ON or OFF as a message to 03-000737 to activate or deactivate the payment service on all your contactless devices such as sticker, watch, bracelet (in case you have more than one contactless payment device).


2. PIN code:
You have to enter your PIN code when required by the contactless POS machine.
PIN requirement:
- On Bank Audi POS machine:
For amounts less than 50$ -> no PIN is required
For amounts between 50$ -> PIN entry is required
For amounts greater than 1,000$ -> the client cannot use his watch/bracelet.
He has to swipe/insert a regular card
- On other banks / third parties POS machine:
PIN insertion rule will follow the conditions set by the other bank / third party

3. SMS transaction alerts:
You will receive an SMS alert for all Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” transactions. The message will also show the balance available on your watch/bracelet.

4. Daily limit transactions:
The number of payment transactions that you can perform using the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” is limited to 10 per day for each.

5. Daily POS limit:
You can use your the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” for a maximum daily amount of 1000$ 1000$ or 1,500,000 LBP each.

Will I continue to earn loyalty or rewards points from my credit card?

The “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” limit is 10 transactions/day up to a daily limit of 1,000$ or 1,500,000 LBP

Will my credit card monthly statement include the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” transactions?

For a watch/bracelet linked to a Credit Card, all transactions done using the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and the “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” will be shown on the client’s monthly basic credit card statement under “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” section.

Will I receive a monthly statement for my “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” and “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” linked to a prepaid card account?

No, the holder of a watch/bracelet linked to a prepaid card account will not receive a statement of account.

How can I check the transactions performed using my “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”/ “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” linked to a prepaid card account?

You can check the transactions performed using your watch/bracelet linked to a prepaid card account by logging in to Audi Online ( www.bankaudi.com.lb/lebanon/audi-online) or Cards Online ( https://cardsonline.banqueaudi.com).

Yes, in order to be able to load money in your watch/bracelet you need to have your watch/bracelet Account or Card number depending on the loading method. (check below the available loading methods).

1. You can get your card account number from the “NFC Watch” card details* and the “NFC Bracelet” card details* document. This number is needed for Online loading.

1. Online:
You can transfer money from your current account through Audi Online website: www.bankaudi.com.lb/lebanon/audi-online by following the below steps:
- Step 1: Login to Audi online by entering your User ID and Password
- Step 2: Select “Transfer and Payment”
- Step 3: Select “Credit Card Payment”
- Step 4: Select the “Source Account” from the dropdown list. It is the account from which you wish to transfer the money.
- Step 5: Select the “Card Details” from the dropdown list. It is the card number of the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch” / “Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” to which you wish to transfer money.
- Step 6: Enter the amount to be transferred

1. Watch replacement: 75$ or 112,500 LBP
2. Bracelet replacement: 25$ or 37,500 LBP
3. EMV Chip replacement: 15$ or 22,500 LBP

What should I do if I have replaced my basic/supplementary credit card to which the watch/bracelet is linked for damaged/lost reason with a new one?

The payment on the watch/bracelet will not be affected, no need for EMV Chip replacement.

What should I do if I canceled my basic/supplementary credit card on which the watch/bracelet is linked?

The EMV chip will stop functioning; thus you won’t be able to make payments. Should you need to benefit from the “Tap2Pay NFC Watch”/”Tap2Pay NFC Bracelet” again, you need to apply for a credit card and hence apply to a new EMV Chip and replace your existing chip with a new one from the bank or, if you hold another type of MC card at the bank and you wish to link your watch/bracelet to it, you will have to apply to a new EMV Chip and replace your existing chip with a new one from the bank.

Specific construction and composition allows the Sticker to be attached to any surface and resist electromagnetic interference emitted by mobile handsets or other personal devices. Once placed on the back of the mobile, it allows its holder to make contactless transactions by tapping it to a Contactless POS machine at the merchants’ premises though the use of the contactless number stored on the sticker.

The Sticker is designed to provide a quick, easy payment method for Non NFC mobile holders. It can replace paying in cash, searching for change or even taking your card out of your wallet. It’s simple and easy and can be used for all kinds of small purchases.

How does "Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag" sticker work?

Can I use any mobile phone to conduct the "Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag" sticker transactions?

Yes, the sticker can be placed on any mobile phone; however it is mainly targeted for non NFC enabled handsets such as iphones. If the sticker is to be placed on an NFC enabled phone, the NFC function should be turned off in order to avoid interference between the NFC emitted by the mobile and the sticker.

1. To link the “Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag” Sticker to your MasterCard Credit Card from bank Audi, you must follow these simple steps:

- Fill a physical “Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag” Sticker application form available at any Bank Audi branch.
- Provide the Customer Service Officer (CSO) with the necessary documents:
o For a cardholder having a basic card applying for a Sticker for himself -> no documents are needed.
o For a cardholder having a supplementary card applying for a Sticker for himself -> no documents are needed
o For a cardholder having a basic card applying for a Sticker for a third party (companion user) -> Identity Card of third party (Companion user)
- Wait for your application to be processed (allow a maximum of 48 business hours).

Yes, however, all applicants should sign each a "Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag" Sticker companion user application form which needs to be signed as well by the basic cardholder.

Should I be a Bank Audi client in order to apply for the "Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag" sticker linked to a prepaid card account?

Yes, the applicant must be an account holder or a cardholder at Bank Audi.

How do I pay using the "Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag" sticker?

With “Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag” sticker, you will be able to carry out cashless transactions at retail outlets that accept MasterCard Paypass by simply tapping the sticker on your phone to the contactless payment terminal.
For Stickers linked to a credit card, the amount will be automatically deducted from your basic card’s credit limit. As for the stickers linked to a prepaid card account, it will be deducted from the prepaid card account.

Do I have to enter a PIN code each time I pay with my “Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag” sticker?

You have to enter your PIN code when required by the contactless POS machine.
PIN requirement:

1. On Bank Audi POS machine:
For amounts less than 50$ -> no PIN is required
For amounts greater than 50$ -> PIN entry is required
For amounts greater than 1,000$ -> the client cannot use his sticker.
He has to swipe/insert a regular card

- Enter the last 4 digits of the card

To de-activate:*

5. Daily POS limit:
You can use your “Tap2Pay NFC Payment Tag” sticker for a maximum daily amount of 1000$ or 1,500,000 LBP.

Since the sticker will be a companion card for the already existing credit card you have, you will continue to benefit from the loyalty program available on your card, as if you were using the card itself.
